Pregnancy Update...
I'm a little behind the times.  Oops! Sorry for keeping you guys hanging for so long.  Our last regular prenatal appointment was at the beginning of September when we were 23 weeks. Everything checked out great.  Her heartbeat was right around 148 and measured to be on target. Daniel got the feel AND see the baby kick for the first time on our anniversary vacation to the twin cities.  She has been really active ever since then!

We are now 27 weeks as of Friday. I started having some back pain earlier this week and it woke me up crying on Thursday night.  I called the nurse on call; she had me try Tylenol and a warm bath.  Neither of those things worked and I was still in tears about an hour later. Daniel brought me in to the hospital at 2:30 am on Friday and they started checking me out.  It turns out I had a LOT of blood in my urine. The nurse said it was the most she has ever tested.  They admitted me for kidney stones.  After the 7th try they finally got an IV started.  They have been treating me with antibiotics, anti-nausea medication, and morphine.  We are still waiting for any stones to pass. The plan is for me to go home sometime today as long as my pain stays under control.  They check on the baby every couple of hours and she is doing great.  Her heartbeat has been anywhere from 130 to 160 throughout my stay here. They also hooked me up to a monitor to ensure I was not having any contractions and things look good there.

I'm getting really sleepy again so I will finish updating the blog at a later time. I have my next regular prenatal appointment and glucose test on Monday.
